FIBA 3x3 Basketball Tournament and Slam-Dunk Competition

3x3 is a basketball tournament organised by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). It is inspired from several forms of street basketball played worldwide and is considered the world’s number one urban team sport. As the name entails, the 3x3 game consists of two teams of three players facing off on a basketball half-court. It was introduced successfully for the first time in the 2020 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. Since then it has been launched on a yearly basis, consisting of professional circuits for men, women, and national-team competitions. FIBA 3x3 made its Olympic debut at the latest Tokyo 2020 Games, and for the first time ever the games are held in Dubai at Expo Sports Arena.
