Arab Journalism Award
The Arab Journalism Awards is the region’s most prestigious award ceremony recognising journalistic excellence. The awards celebrate talent, inspire, and stimulate creativity. It is also aimed at enhancing the constructive role of the press in serving the community. Since its launch under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Award has helped improve the quality of journalism and media in the Arab world. Categories of the Arab Journalism Award include investigative reporting; young talent in journalism; photojournalism; economic journalism; outstanding cartoon artwork; sports journalism; best press interview; best columnist; media personality of the year; political journalism; cultural journalism; smart journalism and humanitarian journalism.
