Slobodan Trkulja is a Serbian multi-instrumentalist, composer and singer in traditional and Byzantium style. Trkulja is one of the first artists who composed, performed and popularised Balkan Traditional style music with a modern approach to muscial arrangements. BIXIGA 70, São Paulo’s acclaimed 10-piece instrumental collective will bring their urban Afro-Brazilian grooves, empowered horn-driven melodicism and massive dance floor inspiration. One of South America’s most exhilarating musical propositions, they will blow you away. AMMAR 808 is the electronic alter-ego of Denmark based producer Sofyann Ben Youssef. Through his music, Youssef uses past musical influences fused with futuristic trends to offer a radical reinvention of North African Music. Red Baraat is a pioneering seven-piece band from Brooklyn, New York. Conceived by dhol player Sunny Jain, the group has drawn worldwide praise for its singular sound, a merging of hard driving North Indian bhangra with elements of hip-hop, jazz and raw punk energy. Red Barrat have performed at Peter Gabriel’s renowned WOMAD Festival, at the request of The White House and Barack Obama, and London Olympic Games. We can't wait for their performance at Expo 2020. What a night we have in store for you!
