All That Jazz
An educational project set up in 2016, the Orchestra Nazionale Jazz dei Conservatori Italiani (Italian Conservatory National Orchestra) has performed a series of concerts in Italy and abroad, and collaborated with world-famous artists. At Expo 2020, under the guidance of Pino Jodice, the Orchestra will present a journey through the history of Italian music, from the post-war period to the present day, with a focus on Neapolitan songs, singer-songwriters, and soundtracks from Italy's greatest composers for the cinema: all reworked in perfect jazz style, that maintains the original Italian musicianship of these stunning repertoires.
