The Romania Pavilion uses immersive exhibits and art installations to explore humankind’s connection with nature, inspiring visitors to seek a new balance with our fragile planet.

As befits the country that is home to 60 per cent of Europe’s mineral water, conservation of water resources is the pavilion’s focus. A “H2RO” exhibit offers a variety of perspectives on the all-important liquid, while the pavilion’s Water Bar lets you taste Romania’s diverse mineral waters. Don’t miss the myriad video installations and artistic staged performances, which point the way to the sustainable future that the pavilion’s creators call the “New Nature”.

Known as the fastest rising psytrance artists of their generation, the Isreali natives have succeeded in propelling the genre to the forefront of the electronic music circuit through their energetic performances and productions. Both established producers in their own right, the pair united over their desire to rework old school sounds into modern day music that would break boundaries and transcend time. They have performed all over the world at festivals like Tomorrowland and UltraMusic festival. They bring their unique sounds to the epic New Year's party at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Newgrange monument in Ireland is a staggering feat of Stone Age engineering, allowing sunlight into its inner chamber only once each year: at sunrise on the winter solstice. The Ireland Pavilion highlights more than 5,000 years of Irish heritage and know-how with a design inspired by this cultural treasure. Curated around the theme of “Thinking Ireland”, the pavilion’s exhibits trace the long lineage of Irish innovation, from ancient stone-working feats to modern-day advancements in science and technology. Don’t miss the exhibition’s innovative light-filtering cone, built in homage to its 5,200-year-old ancestor at Newgrange.

Blending neo-classical architecture with ancient themes, the Ireland Pavilion consists of two single-story buildings surrounded by a screen of white columns and topped by a massive ridged funnel structure. The bronze-coloured main building, called the Oculus, is rectangular in form and features inscribed Celtic designs.
