Grand Finale of the MindSphere Future World Series
At Expo 2020 Dubai, Siemens is reshaping the future of urban living by creating a blueprint for future smart cities. MindSphere Future World Series brings together people who want to make the world smarter, more livable, and sustainable by tackling the challenges associated with the Big Five Topics - Buildings, Energy, Mobility, Industry, and Water - and connecting them to the Internet of Things (IoT). Teams from across the world participated in hackathon challenges to find viable solutions to crucial sustainability issues. As it all comes together, the winning teams return to Expo 2020 Dubai to present their solutions and participate in a final speed panel in the Grande Finale. The event hosts keynote speakers Nadimeh Mehra (Vice President, District 2020, Expo 2020 Dubai) and Afzal Shabaz Mohammed (Vice President IoT and Technology Innovation at Siemens LLC).
