The Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre is a performance space hosting cultural performances and live music for seated crowds, located in Al Forsan Park. The venue’s design features a model of two Ghaf trees that intertwine above the centre of the stage.

TwoShields Production Company is a Native American Indian performers group from Salt Lake City, Utah that performs American Indian dance, flute music, hoop dance,  and workshops to a variety of audiences throughout the U.S.and abroad.

The group consists of numerous award-winning dancers and musicians including founder, Nino Reyos. Reyos, an enrolled member of the Pueblo Tribe, is a Native American Music Award Nominee and a current Grammy voting member.

TwoShields Production Company has performed at the opening ceremony at both the 2002 Winter Olympics and 2007 Deaflympics - both held in Salt Lake City, Utah.

From the 18th-century writers of the Declaration of Independence to the creators of today’s smartphones and social-media networks, innovation and love of liberty have always been at the very core of America’s identity. The USA Pavilion at Expo 2020 celebrates these twin national pillars with an immersive exploration of the past and future of the American spirit.

Hop on board a moving walkway and see the sights across several large exhibit areas. Attractions include dynamic digital presentations on America’s history of innovation, a fun ceiling-displayed science narrative, an enormous replica space rocket and much more.

The United States Pavilion centres on a broad façade decorated with a modular pattern of large white metal stars, evoking the American flag. A screen of lofty vertical metal slats stands perpendicular to the left edge of the structure, bordering a walkway that leads guests inside, while a wide roof screen overhangs the full length of the façade, providing shade.

A testament to the incredible work presented at MENASA by local artisans, designers, organisations and international collaborators under the support of Expo 2020 Dubai, the MENASA publication represents a collective effort to present contemporary design and crafts from the UAE to the world.

Expo 2020 Dubai, the first Expo in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region in the 170 years of World Expo history, opened with a celebration of global togetherness and optimism. Spectacular storytelling, performances, fireworks, and immersive projections on the dome of Al Wasl, the heart of Expo 2020, all told a story of collaboration and hope for the future, echoing Expo 2020 Dubai's theme of "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future". Global artists joining in the celebration included Andrea Bocelli, Ellie Goulding, Lang Lang and Mohammed Abdu.

Long ago, travellers referred to Dubai as Al Wasl, or “the connection” – a name that reflects the area’s heritage as a meeting point. This spirit of coming together takes shape in Al Wasl Plaza, Expo 2020’s spectacular centrepiece and gathering ground for celebration and wonder. 

Situated at the meeting point of Expo’s three thematic districts, Al Wasl Plaza's dome is tall enough to fit the Leaning Tower of Pisa beneath it. By night, she transforms into a 360-degree projection screen, blanketed by more than 250 state-of-the-art projectors. Al Wasl Plaza is a hub for visitors and the vibrant heart of our Expo.

Al Wasl Plaza is 130 metres in diameter and more than 67 metres tall. Delicate-looking despite its titanic scale, her pattern is inspired by our Expo's logo, which is fully visible at the oculus.
