By 2050, approximately 68 per cent of the world's population will live in cities. And yet, cities are still being designed without taking into consideration the specific needs of half the population – women. Whether in public spaces, architecture, mobility, safety, or access to diverse education and employment opportunities, cities designed by and for women are hard to come by.
