The crowning glory of a massive metro-system expansion that includes seven new eco-friendly, LEED Gold-certified stations, Expo 2020 Station is your sleekest, most sustainable gateway into the exciting world of Expo 2020 Dubai. The station can handle 29,000 passengers per hour and boasts cutting-edge wraparound digital screens and a new smart gate system. It’s topped off — literally — by a striking, swooping rooftop design modelled after an aircraft’s wings, signifying the city’s aspirations to soar into the future.

Poisedfor flight
The station's iconic design, created by architects Weston Williamson + Partners, features an enormous pair of golden wings that unfold gracefully atop the station structure, symbolising Dubai’s goal of soaring into the future on the wings of innovation. Seen from the large front entry plaza, it features façades of geometrically patterned white stone in between banks of reflective glass windows.
