It’s a tale as old as innovation itself: a great idea strikes so suddenly that it sends you scrambling to jot it down before the inspiration disappears. With the Young Innovators programme, Expo 2020 Dubai has helped schoolchildren across the UAE to capture this creative spark.
It all began, fittingly, on the back of a napkin, where hundreds of students have sketched ideas for solutions to global challenges. From there, Expo has connected these young creators with professionals to build 3D-printed prototypes.
