Part of a series of inspirational and educational talks that tackle gender stereotypes to move towards a gender-equal future. The session hosts Friederike Kienitz, Senior Vice President for Sustainability, Corporate Governance, Legal, External Affairs and Communications at Nissan, who oversees a team of more than 150 professionals across Africa, Middle East, India, Europe and Oceania (AMIEO). Joining the session also is Hisham Khalid, Counsel and Deputy General Manager of Legal Affairs at Nissan Middle East. Together they speak about their own personal experiences, visions and journey and how these relate to the Women's Pavilion theme of ‘When Women Thrive, Humanity Thrives’.

Honourable Minister Dr Kirsty Coventry is Zimbabwe's Cabinet Minister for Youth Affairs, Sport, Art and Recreation. In this session, she discusses what Zimbabwe has done to yield transformative results for women, as well as how to avoid harmful biases in economies and jobs in the future. Dr Conventry is the most decorated Olympian in Africa, having won seven Olympic medals for swimming. She has also broken multiple world records and now acts as a member of the International Olympic Committee, a member of the World Anti-Doping Agency, and Chairperson of the Senegal 2022 Youth Olympic Games Coordination Commission. As a Cabinet Minister, Dr Coventry works with young people in less privileged communities, offering free sports coaching and training, her non-profit HEROES programme has reached more than 6000 children.

Take a virtual reality tour across Zimbabwe’s savannahs and down the mighty Zambezi River. Then learn about the country’s advances in mining, construction and agriculture, as well as the youthful, skilled workforce pushing Zimbabwe to new heights.
