The programme highlights the impact women have made on society and shines a light on their often forgotten contributions. By shifting perspectives, we embrace the infinite approaches to a more balanced world.

A common vision for a unique collaboration; sustainable development goals and aspirations for a peaceful and prosperous world cannot be achieved without gender equality and women’s empowerment.

Sharing this vision, Expo 2020 Dubai and Cartier celebrate women changemakers around the globe, asserting our conviction that innovative collaboration between the private sector, civil society and committed individuals is the pathway to meaningful change.

Co-curated by Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the session will feature key speakers including Her Excellency Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairman of the Ajman Businesswomen Council and Member of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Ajman Chamber: Entrepreneurship Forum for the Next Fifty Years

Mentoring is a powerful tool that creates impact and growth for both mentor and mentee. Designed to help women build and scale their businesses, UN Women and NAMA Women Advancement will inaugurate their mentoring programme for UAE-based women entrepreneurs from Expo 2020. 

In celebration of it’s launch, four experienced entrepreneurs will speak about their experiences and how mentoring has helped grow their businesses. There will also be an opportunity for knowledge sharing and audience interaction.

UN Women and NAMA Women Advancement will launch their mentoring programme for UAE-based women entrepreneurs.

Launch Event: The Power of Mentoring for Women Entrepreneurs 

Hosted by Societe Generale, under its commitment to the Global Compact UAE and the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), this panel discussion addresses the challenges, best practices, research and insights into women-owned businesses by featuring experienced leaders and partners from the region.

Jen Blandos, entrepreneurship advisor at UN Women and CEO of Female Fusion, alongside Walid Faza, from MSA Capital, talk about what potential investors look for in the business and what systems and structures they need to have in place nowdays to be ready for the future. Participants also have the opportunity to pitch their business ideas and receive feedback from Walid.
