Making the Invisible Visible: Valuing Women and Marginalised People in Water Management and WASH

Outlier Series

Making the Invisible Visible

Inclusive decision making with women and other marginalised peoples as key stakeholders is the first step towards achieving water security and sanitation for all. Achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6 by 2030 - clean water and sanitation for all - will require all people to work together despite traditional gender-based divisions. In recognition of World Water Day and the 2022 theme of “Groundwater: Making the invisible visible”, this event celebrates diverse roles across the water cycle. The session highlights real examples from around the world and delves into conversations around gender equality, water management and water sanitation and hygiene (WASH). *Register now to attend in person, https://www.events.australiaexpo2020.com/making-the-invisible-visible---world-water-day-at-the-womens-pavilion/rsvp/Site/Register*
