The Expo 2020 Dubai Women’s Pavilion, in collaboration with Cartier, has unveiled creative content and programming that will help reaffirm Expo’s commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment. 

The pavilion is set to celebrate the important roles that women, known and unknown, have played throughout history and continue to play in the present day, based on the principle that when women thrive, humanity thrives.

Under the title “New Perspectives”, the Women’s World Majlis programme invites you to recognise a fundamental principle: when women thrive, humanity thrives.

The programme highlights the impact women have made on society and shines a light on their often forgotten contributions. By shifting perspectives, we embrace the infinite approaches to a more balanced world.

A common vision for a unique collaboration; sustainable development goals and aspirations for a peaceful and prosperous world cannot be achieved without gender equality and women’s empowerment.

Omani Women's Day

The Pakistan Pavilion delivers a mesmerizing evening at Expo 2020. To celebrate tolerance and inclusivity, the pavillion has a great line up of motivational speakers and artists delivering performances based around the theme “Pakistan: Connected through Diversity”. The event will be kick started by 'the Iron Lady' Muniba Mazari and an acclaimed motivational speaker will be addressing the audience on inclusion, equality and tolerance. Filipino-Pakistani singer-songwriter Maria Unera will then take the stage. Rounding off the evening will be the award winning Pakistani artist Meesha Shafi. Make your way to the fun-filled celebration at the Jubilee stage, Expo 2020 Dubai.

Named in honour of the UAE’s 50th anniversary, Jubilee Park is a space built for celebration. At a spacious 23,000 square metres, the park is home to countless lively attractions: delicious food offerings for every taste, dazzling art pieces, the Jubilee Stage, Rashid's Adventures, and more. You can also take a ride on the iconic Garden in the Sky observation tower for a panoramic view of Expo 2020.


Jubilee Park’s design is inspired by the seasonal desert wadi: dry river valleys that spring to life after heavy rains, their once arid landscapes now green with vegetation. It's the perfect inspiration for a park that evokes both natural peace and excitement, depending on where you wander.

Home to four of the world’s 10 tallest mountains, Pakistan is a place where aiming for the top carries new meaning. At the alpine-looking Pakistan Pavilion, you’ll get a one-of-a-kind tour of the nation’s towering “peaks of progress” in sustainability, sport, science and much more.

Immersive exhibitions await in the pavilion’s wings - five wings, honouring Pakistan’s provinces. Whether it’s exploring the nation’s recent planting of one billion new trees, plucking textile threads to create symphonies of traditional Pakistani music or learning about the World Cup footballs (made in Pakistan since 1970), the pavilion has many unique experiences.

The Pakistan pavilion's five gently rounded, summit-like structures of varying heights are arranged in a U-shape around a recessed courtyard. Each slope-topped peak, which represents one of Pakistan’s five provinces, is textured with a cross-hatch design of reflective metal plating with a rainbow-like sheen.
