David Davies grew up in a wheat and sheep farming area in South Australia, where he ran wheat silos and got to learn about wheat and sheep farmers. Today, he runs AgUnity, taking low-cost smartphones and adapting them to become essential tools for low-income farmers around the world, from Columbia to Ethiopia to Papua New Guinea.
