On October 2020, Tatjana Matic became a Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications in the Government of the Republic of Serbia. Previously, from May 2014, she was the State Secretary in the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications. In March 2015 she was elected a member of the Commission of the Republic of Serbia for Cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation UNESCO in the field of information technologies and information society. Since September 2015 she has been engaged in the work of the Coordinating body for the EU accession process, Chapters 3 and 10, as president of the negotiation groups - Right of Establishment and Freedom to Provide Services and the Information Society and Media.
